WELCOME TO RUHRSTADT-FESTIVAL 2015
Dear guests,
as a synthesis of western and international music forms the universal language of world music contributes to an understanding of different cultures.
Since the festival started in 2013 supported by the state North Rhine-Westphalia the intercultural Ruhrstadt-Festival provides an important benefit to the connection of the local and international cultural scene. Also it promotes young art and interdisciplinary artistic encounters.
Besides the interplay of music, dance, medial and visual arts – the festival spotlights innovative collaboration and mutual exchange between the artists as well as the dialog with the audience.
The outcomes of the previous festival cooperations led to enduring collaborative and successful projects. To carry on with this prosperous concept we want to develop further projects that offer platforms to local artists and new talents in interplay with international special guests.
In 2015 we wish you a peaceful togetherness and diverse impulses for sustainable positive evolutions. In this spirit – feel welcome and have a nice time!
