The Positive Creative World featuring Dinesh Mishra – an excursion into new worlds of sound
The Positive Creative World concert will take place on Saturday, 02.08.2014 at 8 pm in the Börse (Wolkenburg 100) Wuppertal.
This unique concert will be performed by: Afshin Ghavami (Flamenco guitar) from Bochum, the Wuppertal Ullip (percussion set), Edmund Held (trumpet), Rechungpa (gongs, percussion, overtone singing) and Bansuri master Dinesh Mishra (bamboo flutes) from India.Kanjira master Ganesh Kumar and master flutist Dinesh Mishra from India will be present as guest stars.
A musical journey through the Middle and Far East, mixed with influences from flamenco, Indian, Cuban and African elements. New creations by the master flutist Dinesh Mishra meet the earthy sounds of Rechungpa on the gong and the truly sparkling guitar sounds of an Afshin Ghavami, accompanied by the sensitive, jazzy trumpet of Edmund Helds. This melange is accompanied by Ullip with his dynamic rhythms, which he implements masterfully on his percussion set.
