Conception
“The Positive Creative World Ensemble” is a group of musicans from NRW with roots from all over the world, who met and still meet in Germany and develop a free, process-orientated work in the sphere of Worldmusic. The ensemble is distinguished by the high-quality artists that play together in different constellations. Instant composing and improvisation is said to be one of the master-classes of music. It is also understood as a way to find new ways of expressing oneself and to develop the language of music. This intercultural, border-crossing language is, what brings these very different musicians together and shows their ability and passion for a peacefull cooperation.
The group played on different occasions, in various constellations (for example the Ruhrstadt- Festival that took place in the last two years, organised by kulturgut.net e.V.). Some of the artists are well known all over the country and always seek new possibilities with other musicians to develop their facilties and to widen the network of worldmusic all over the world.
Live-performances of TPCW are always filled with power, harmony and friendship, which makes their music so energetic. The ensemble understands itself as ambassador of communication and friendship by the means of arts. The powerful, bracing and grooving rhythms combined with the accoustic soloinstruments motivate the audience to engage with the music, to swing with it and enjoy it, all together.

“The Positive Creative World Ensemble” is always looking for opportunities to work with other, international artists. They seek to widen and consolidate the network of worldmusic artists. To present their art to an international, new audience would broaden their connections to new directions and new audiences. They understand themselves as representatives of a peaceful, procedural togetherness and of the worldmusic as it exists in Germany, Europe and beyond.
