Talents of World Music is a program of the Academy of Cultures NRW
to give a chance to young artists – to MUSICIANS, SINGERS and SONGWRITERS –
to proove their quality by accompanying famous musicians on tour.

Especially pre-experienced percussionists and solo artists who feel to be prepared
to communicate with other musicians in a sensitive musical way are invited to apply for being a guest artist of the Indian master fluteplayer DINESH MISHRA in various places of a european tour-session from 2008 on.

After a successful participation in an event the selected players will be named on the website of Dinesh Mishra – Artist in Residence of prokulturgut.net and on his myspace site.
They will be supported in a good career in the fields of world music and get a chance in participating in music productions with Dinesh and other special musicians and composers.

The best 8 musicians of each year will achieve a free course participation in the Sangeet Shakti education program of the Academy of Cultures NRW teached by Dinesh Mishra.
